What's Done in the Dark

Ignorance isn't Bliss

By B. M. GomezPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

We bask in the sound of sweet chimes

Being blown in the wind,

Still we hear less than the deaf

Don’t worry this is no sin.

We relish the beauty of this world

Still we see less than the blind,

Knowledge, as accessible as a pearl

Continues to leave us behind.

The ignorance that plagues us

Slowly devours our minds today,

Seeing with our hearts

Is the only way to be saved.

Falsified truth.

Falsified world.

Falsified words.

Falsified love.

Falsified trust.

Things aren't as they appear,

Hell is on earth...

Soon all will be clear.
