Water Ceremony, A Bridal Shower, And A New Cabin
All in one day
We were rained on this morning
At the water ceremony, the raining
came down hard, until it was a drizzle,
We expected it would fizzle
out and it did. Water ceremony
then a trip for a future matrimony
The wedding is in October
I just love the idea of a mid-October
wedding. We have one at the first part
of the month it warms my heart
~
A very large tree fell in the park
and I expected a spark
It sounded like a gunshot
the woman leading looked fraught
She said a tree just fell without cause
and it could've fell on our cars
What a relief that it didn't fall apart
on the cars or the dog park part
Someone's dog was scared waiting
in the car for us to be finishing.
~
Too many funerals lately
I so looked greatly
forward to the bridal showers
with the beautiful live flowers
The bride is thirty-two
and her favorite color is blue
She was given losts of gifts
No spendthrifts
the food was great
really it was first rate
~
The games were fun
and photos after, and one
of me with the bride
I usually want to hide
from photos, I was
not dressed right cause
for pictures as I planned
to go give my kids a hand
on the cabin they are working on
I don't do much, but support John.
