Where have they all gone, so many friends and writers?
Have our people left us for greener pastures?
Or have they gone to a better platform?
What finally ran them all away—
Cruel comments, no engagement
Or broken promises made by

Stephanie, I love this!! It felt so eery and foreboding, especially paired with that picture!! Made me think of that performance from dance Mom's called "where have all the children gone".... 😅
I swear I left a comment before, it seems it's not only Vocalites who are disappearing. Weird things are happening with no explanations. I watch from the shadows now, no motivation right now to write. Many reasons why seasoned people leave, money is bottom of the list.
That is so sad, I do notice some popular, well awarded persons, but those are not a lot, so maybe some feel neglected. Interesting thoughts.
It's so sad that so many have left. I sure hope you don't leave 😅😅
*lurks from the shadows* muahahahaaaa
People could be just taking a break. 🤞 Happy to subscribe to your work.
I have noticed this as well. Quite a few of the names I used to see regularly are not around anymore. It's sad.
Relatable and loved it!!!❤️❤️💕
I'm afraid you're stuck with me for now 😁🤣
I ask myself this also. I'm finding a degree of engagement burnout myself, but then I've always read a lot on here.
Lots have left and I was nearly one of them. One of the problems is that many are here to just make money, when they find they cant they go, luckily I made some friends. Love your poem and hope it makes people think
