Valentine's Day cards,

I’m guilty

and you're my crime

Heart shaped boxes,

You're my chocolate

and I'm feeling sweet

Bouquets of flowers,

I’m stolen breath

and you're my thief

Dinners with candles,

You're my flame

and I’m on fire

Midnight love letters,

I’m singing jazz songs

and you're my improvisation

love poems

  • This is so cleverly beautiful 💝… I especially like: “ Bouquets of flowers, I’m stolen breath and you're my thief”✅

Lovely poem, especially enjoyed the last two lines! I've never been one for Valentines. Probably because I rarely got a card lol!
