Uncertain
Questioning everything, Answering nothing....
In the tangled thoughts, my mind doth lose its way,
Amidst a maze of doubts, it struggles to stay.
Uncertainty's dark cloud obscure the day,
And fear and questions swirl, in disarray.
My heart, a battleground, where emotions fight,
Reason and doubt, in conflict, day and night.
I searched for answers, but they flee from sight,
Leaving me lost, in the bewildering light.
The world, a riddle, seems to mock my plight,
As I stumble through, without a guiding light.
Yet, in the depths of this confusing night,
A glimmer of hope still flickers, a beacon bright.
And so, I'll hold on to faith, and trust in time,
To unravel the knots, and clear the cloudy prime.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
