Love feels hard
because we make it so,
but that truth should unsettle us—
we fall short instead of thriving.
Why must love struggle
when it brings the richest feelings in life,
constantly teaching us
the true meaning of treasure?
The refusal to turn
in the direction of forgiveness and change
stains us all,
dimming life’s most joyful light.
Misplaced passion spills
from unresolved, manageable conflicts,
turning small troubles
into streams of exaggeration.
But together, we are built strong—
an unbroken chain
made to withstand any challenge
this world can offer.
