Two Tone

by Sarah L.

By Sarah LoPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

They see yellow, they see white. They see two entities.

You see shades of each in being and body.

Hold on to what is veracious.

Deny the untruths, breed the realities.

Use your stains to varnish your roots.

Talk freely or be silenced.

The beauty and the despair were born from the same place.

Stand tall for two hues.

Stand tall for opposing forces.

Stand tall for distinctiveness.

Don’t be stuck in what they see.

Willingness to hone tones allows subtleties to prevail.

Scrutiny is the force of change within.

I see yellow, I see white. I see one entity.
