Two Thousand Years Old

And These Stones Are Still With Us

Me At The Temple of Antenocitus

Introduction

This is inspired by the thoughts of things that have lasted from ancient times to the present day, One book I have on the subject is Julian Cope's "The Modern Antiquarian" and I also live close to a section of Hadrian's Wall and often visit the Temple of Antenocitus and the selfie for this piece is me leaning on a column there.

First love the shirt. This to me would make a great introduction to an ancient history lesson on Hadrian's Wall or Roman culture.

  • This was so beautifully written! Loved your poem!

I’m envious, I want to live a short distance from Hadrian’s wall!
