Moon: English given name.
Luna: Latin. "lunar eclipse," "selenology" - the study of the moon
Selene or Mene: Ancient Greek names for the Moon and its goddess.
Cynthia or Diana (Roman equivalent): Poetic and alternative names derived from Greek and Roman mythology, as epithets of the moon goddesses Artemis and Diana.

The twelve months of Moon phases
January: Wolf Moon - For the howling wolves of midwinter, reflecting survival and connection.
February: Snow Moon - Reflects heavy snowfall typical of the month
March: Worm Moon - Slithering earthworms reappearing as the ground thaws.
April: Pink Moon - Pink phlox appears, one of the earliest spring flowers
May: Flower Moon - Celebrates the abundance of blooming flowers
June: Strawberry Moon - Coincides with strawberry harvesting season.
July: Buck Moon - Marks the time when male deer begin growing new antlers. Santa should be happy.
August: Sturgeon Moon - Named for the plentiful sturgeon fish in North American lakes.
September: Harvest Moon - Closest full moon to the autumn equinox, aiding harvests.
October: Hunter's Moon - Time to hunt and prepare for winter.
November: Beaver Moon - Refers to beavers building winter dams.
December: Cold Moon - Reflects the long, cold nights of winter

Special Moon Event Names
Blue Moon: The second full moon in a single calendar month (or sometimes the third of four full moons in a season).
Black Moon: Usually refers to a second new moon in a single month.
Blood Moon: A name for a total lunar eclipse due to the Moon's reddish appearance.
Supermoon: The Moon when it is full and at its closest point to Earth in its orbit (perigee syzygy), making it appear larger and brighter.
