Truth

Searching for answers in not so obvious places through poetry.

In the morning winds I seek the truth

That may never be known,

Searching endlessly until my soul is weary,

This makes me feel so blue.

-

In the evening stillness I look for guidance,

Moon lighting up the ground,

Where the giants stand tall

Looking so proud and wise like lions.

-

My mind reaches out to ice covered mountains,

I pray to receive those needed answers,

Time flees and I am met with nothing but silence.

-

So I turn to the stars that seem to know

How the truth is to be found.

It shines bright onto my heart,

Truth has been within; I should have known that long ago...
