My goal is to explore my creative side; once ideas flush my mind, I pledge to write and share them with the world. :)

Once Upon a Free World
Part 1. It was the early morning of March 3rd, 2157. Sylvia had one thing on her mind and that was having an old-fashioned, held graciously by her hand. She wished she was back in her 20s when liquor was still sold on every corner store, legal to buy since she was 18. Sadly, she has to ask her doctor's permission every time she wants to drink.

Dear Grandpa
Dear Grandpa, You are an Aquarius just like me - calm, optimistic, and a self-sufficient introvert. I remember you telling me that if I was ever in a meaningless argument or fight, to simply turn around and walk away. And I listened, maybe a bit too well.

Why was I so obsessed with horror as a young child?
I remember watching my first horror movie when I was somewhere between 7 and 8 years old; it was very late and I just stumbled upon a movie called "The Grudge". While I covered my eyes for most of the scary moments, I could not help but watch. I was hooked! I am almost certain my mom was asleep during the time I watched it, so it was no fault of her parenting that I ended up watching a very scary movie late at night, I was just a sneaky and curious kid.
