The road this week had twists and turns
And some of them were bad
Amazing how much fuel it burns
I used most what I had
I barely make it through the week
Before I’m out of gas
The filling station I now seek
I can’t afford to pass
The “engine” sputters, then won’t go
My inner demons scoff
Before my gas gauge got this low
I should have topped it off
By missing church the “tank” goes dry
It leaves you in a lurch
It’s obvious the reason why
So Sunday’s, I’m in church
I know the “fuel” that gets me there
And Who I am to thank
Each time I worship God in prayer
It’s topping off my tank

So true! He keeps us safe and sustained.
God is an amazing provider if we put our focus on him not our problems. God Bless 🙏🏼
