I got to hold a Macaw at a rescue once and it was a fabulous experience. Thank you for reminding me of it!

  • Wonderful Bill. This is my first time reading your bird series and I really enjoyed the quotes and videos and especially the beautiful photos. Thank you, this was a nice way to spend a few moments of time.

Beautiful birds! 🤩 A long time ago me and a friend found a grey red and white one on a side street in a neighborhood. I can’t remember what they are called. it was shy but let us put it in the car. We checked a few of the neighboring streets for the owner and found someone who the owner gave their name and address to in case it was found. This was before cellphones. As soon as the owner opened the door, the bird came alive with whistles and random words it was an awesome reunion! Today’s bird story reminded me of that.

Those scarlet macaws look so amazing, like the colours of the rainbow, it's like they are from another universe. I like how you fit in their colour, what they remind you of, and how important they are to the Mayans, into your lovely haiku. Talking parrots can be hilarious lol. I like the photo captured with it's wings out, flying. I couldn't resist. I love birds, all birds. So whenever I see birds, I click. Fantastic work, Bill 🤗❤️
