This is a poem for my Muse to hopefully make her laugh, I love hearing her laugh. Was trying to graft The Owl and The Pussycat, The Iliad, and Jason and The Argonauts in an act of poetic madness so chose a vague Limerick form.

You, Your Owl And Kitties Three.
A Basket Full Of Yum Yum
To Fill Your Empty Tum Tum
And Then Find The Golden Fleece

Owl Does Hoot and Kittens Hiss

Distract Yourself, Cream And Scone
Hit The Beach Where This Fleece Is

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." β Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
