The Little Girl Loved The Moon
So She Wore Her Bobble Hat
And Red Coat, With Some Strong Twine
And Left Her House With Her Cat

They Walked Up To The High Place
Made A Lasso With Her Twine
Saw The Moon And Stars In Space
Then Threw Her Magical Line

She Caught The Moon, Pulled It Close
In Her Red Coat, She Had The Moon
But She Knew It Was Not Hers
So Let It Go, Back It Flew

Do you understand haiku?
Do you ever get sidetracked when writing? I do. I think it must be in the nature of the creative mind to draw connections and have a need to explore them. Since the World Wide Web became established in the 1990s, this has become a lot easier to do. The phenomenon being described as βgoing down a wormhole.β Sometimes a distraction, but I have written some of my best work when I have disappeared down one web wormhole or another. It also happened in the days when most of my research was book based so we can't blame it on the internet. Book research was just slower. These days, guided by my AI friend, it is much, much quicker.

What a cute poetic story. I like that she realised in the end that it wasnβt hers, as hard as it mustβve been for her. The image prompt was perfect, it was bursting with ideas. I like that you used her red coat, I didnβt even notice the cat. I was too distracted by her pulling the moon. Nice one Mike β₯οΈπ€ππ½
