To Be Free
Influenced By A Life Journey And The Mike Oldfield Song
Introduction
This is for someone who has been working extremely hard in their life to be free of the things that held them back. This could be for anyone who is working hard to cast off their restraining shackles.
I am using an enhancement of the sonnet format for this, essentially finishing each verse with the three words "To Br Free"
The poem is bookended by two songs "To Be Free" by Mike Oldfield from "Tres Lunas" and "Now We Are Free" from the film "Gladiator" by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard.

These Are The Days You Can Now Enjoy

It's Poppy Time
Introduction This is for both Poppy's Prompt #10 and the Vocal Sensational II Challenge. Although it is only five lines I will make it difficult for myself by including one of Poppy's words on each line, making it Acrostic (using "Poppy" as the word) and with an ABABA rhyme format.
