Tiny love
Real and big are not the same word
Ties his hair back with my hair tie
Eats the soup I made
Will call from work to tell me NPR said...and I know you love...and do we need...and I love you.
A road trip is time for our show
We both know
But we ask each time.
Is the way to live a life so full of joy just this?
Hair ties and soup and a road trip rite of way
And love, it's all just love.
Our webs of self
The bits of life that fall
Hair and dirt and skin cell
We can know who made them, but who cares, now?
The dust is our dust
The love is our love
The way I take my tea is his
I can tug on any line and move the web
This way and that
But it will stay
Ours
Sure
Calm
Live
Home.
Our hair tie lays by the bed.
Our soup is in a bowl.
Our car ride will have our show.
Our life will be full of love, tiny love.
