Three Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty Days
(a tribute to Robin Williams, who made us smile through his pain)

Three thousand six hundred and fifty days
Ten years since the laughter ceased
Our world became dimmer that day
A joy and smile hiding a deep pain
'A hunter from the darkest wild …’
Hunting like faceless monster, unseen by all but prey
Somehow through that hurt you still did it
You made our lives brighter
Like a shooting star, here and then gone
Too soon
A Genie released from your lamp, granting our wishes
Mork gave us the courage to be ourselves, embrace our weird
Taught to be brave by Alan Parrish, even if lost in the wilds
Raised to be loving and caring by Mrs Doubtfire
Peter showed that to live is the greatest adventure
Last words an instruction for us all, to smile …
‘It’s sunrise’
So many faces, a whole childhood's worth!
You are the Pan … and always will be
Genie, you’re free … Rest now
O’ captain, My captain … I hope you are at peace
…
All we can say now … ‘Na-nu Na-nu’ …
Thank you Robin

Aww this made me tear up. I remember the day the news of his death broke, it was all anyone could talk about at my job. So many of us grew up watching him.
So wonderful
