Introduction

This is my sixty-eighth piece inspired by Angie Livingstone's inspirational artwork. I love the beautiful autumnal colours in this work.

This Is Our Night

๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐ŸŒณ

Upon The Hill That Houses Their Tomb

Their Spirits Stand In A Holy Light

We See Them High Above The Cwm

They're Our Ancestors, Caring And Wise

๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Our Ancestors Return, This Is Our Night

They Have Come Back To Give Our Blessing

'Neath The Blue Leaved Tree, They Shine Their Light

On This Special Night, They Chant And Sing

๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ”ฎ

We See The Doorway Stones Of The Stones

Spiral Spell From Our Ancestor's Light

They Cast Their Magic, In Sacred Tones

They Are Here For Us, This Is Our Night

๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ”ฎ

They'll Be Here Again, They Were Before

This is The Night Of Our Ancestors

This is an image that speaks spiritually for the shades of blue and white. One feel closer to the one and the many.

Lovely and mystical poem. I too, always learn something from you Mike ๐Ÿค—

  • Lol, I thought cwm was a typo for cum until I saw Stephanie's comment. Loved your beautiful poem!

  • Coincidentally, the Hungry Ghost month here for Taoists ended last night, which meant that they sent their ancestors off. Timely tribute!

I love that I always learn something new when I read your work. This time it was the word โ€œcwmโ€. Lovely poem, and lovely image to go along with it.
