There Is Always Hope
Be Kind To Those That May Need It and Also Those That Maybe Don't
I have been feeling very down, so much that I decided to stop writing and then paradoxically decided to write about it. It is so easy for me to feel self-pity but then thought maybe I should write a poem about kindness. In our cashless society yesterday I picked up a pound that someone had dropped on an Edinburgh pavement, and then later a homeless guy asked me for a tab (cigarette) which I didn't have, but I did have that pound coin which I gave to him. It only cost me the effort of picking it up off the pavement but it was worth it to see him smile and thank me.
So I thought I would write a few words about kindness in a crown cinquain.
Here is how I want it to look:
There Is Always Hope

Raise The Flagging Spirits
Make Them Happy
