The Sun and The Moon / Apollo and Artemis

A gentle poem about the sun and the moon in personified forms or about Apollo and Artemis. Take it how you will

By Alex BarkerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The fluttering pieces of snow overlapping each other and the sun rises, / Showing His face through the tree. / The birds singing their beautiful songs, / To greet Him. / Sitting into the snow, / Behind the mountains, She, / The gorgeous Moon waves good night.

The snow gently melts into the dirt and unseen grass, / Providing a warmer and gentler touch and love to the grass. / Soft, gentle flowers sprout from the earth, / Stretching their petite leaves, / As a hello and good morning. / She's back and awake. / Yes, She's here. / Spring Herself saying hello to all Her creations and beauties.

The small creatures in their homes, / Stretching and yawning as they wake.
