As the Internet opens its users to a myriad of vital information, it has also exposed them to hyper-partisanship, ideological rants, and outright lies that some Internet sites offer. The situation has gotten so bad that even mainstream media outlets (print, broadcast and the Internet) have been affected by the misinformation propagated by numerous ideological and fake news sites.
