Spammers and AI accounts seemed to have a full run of the site while it was glitching, but that could have been me overreacting

Spammers have free reign, and publishing is a hot mess, too! It feels like as fast as I report the little buggers, new accounts pop up adding to the nightmare.
Well done! I noticed during the glitch that no new stories had gone up for hours - except from an AI account - at least, that is what it looked like on my end.
