The State of Belonging
Belonging isn’t a place — it’s a feeling.

We spend our lives searching for belonging — within society, among friends, in a relationship, in a place. That feeling of belonging gives us a sense of stability, an illusion of safety.
But there’s something that keeps me from being truly happy: not feeling that I belong to myself.
And that’s where everything begins to make sense. Because I believe that the true state of belonging starts within. When you belong to yourself — when you inhabit yourself, recognize yourself, and hold yourself — everything else begins to fall into place.
The relationship you have with yourself is the foundation upon which all other relationships are built.
Returning to yourself. Knowing when it’s no longer the place to be. Being grateful for what you experienced, but having the courage to walk away.
How beautiful it is to leave a place knowing you gave it your all, that you tried with your whole heart — but that life has other paths prepared for you.
There are journeys that must be taken alone. Paths that invite you to discover new people, new love, new energy, new landscapes.
We must learn to let go with love, to leave in peace and with kindness.
Everything you’ve lived is part of your growth. Every moment — even the most difficult ones — prepares you for what’s ahead.
Connections don’t happen by chance; each one carries a lesson, a spark that transforms you.
We are beings in constant motion. Staying still, in places that no longer resonate with you, means denying yourself the chance to keep exploring this world full of possibilities.
It’s not selfishness. It’s self-love.
It’s knowing when it’s time to leave.

This is beautifully said! When you belong to yourself, the world feels less like a puzzle and more like a dance. Keep stepping forward with love.✨
I get what you're saying about belonging starting within. I've had to leave places where I didn't feel right, and it led to new adventures. It's all about self-love and growth.
