The Simple Things in life
It’s the quiet that holds us,
the hush between heartbeats,
where no words dare intrude.
A glance, a flicker,
our eyes speak louder
than a thousand whispered words.
No grand moments,
no gilded promises —
just silence,
thick with meaning.
And in that stillness,
the simple things remain,
a shared breath,
a gaze that knows,
and the unspoken
that says it all.
The art of saying I love you,
And not needing to use words

Five—Locked in a perpetual battle against my failing senses and reason, I fight to survive, to get through; I am afraid of... nothingandeverythingallatonce—...—my mouth is dry, and my muscles seize up... what can I see?
