The Silence Of Sorrow
Silence Acrostic

Solemn is the stone that bears your name, marking your final resting place
I quietly wait, listening for your voice in fractured silence
Leaves toss and bristle in the breeze, casually
Embracing my being
Now, nothingness consumes my every thought
Capturing my breath and stealing my hope
Eternity has claimed us both
