The Shell Game
Poetry for Easter
This is for Mikeydred's April Challenge and Natasha's poetry prompt.Β
Happy Easter, everyone.Β

In threads of gold straw, the crowned eggs lay,Β
Their pastel shells so soft, an art
Each one sends hope and grace this day
Love for all in its warm heart.Β
π₯πΈπ₯ππ₯π·π₯β¨π₯πΌπ₯ππ₯ππ₯ππ₯
Young children hunt with gleaming eyes
Each one lights a tiny spark
Not for chocolate or a prize---
For something warm, and a new start.

Cheers for the challenge. My warm wishes.
Well-wrought, Michelle! My kids have outgrown Easter Egg hunts, but we've fond memories nestled in the crooks between many trials and errors.
