The Risk is Always Worth it

Don't struggle

By Dominique LewisPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
You were made to risk. Take the terrain.

The sun dawns, breaks, and sets

While you allow it to shape you

Form your morning

Ripen your day

And claim your sleep schedule for you.

A cycle that's practical, settled, and common

But the type of common that's complacent

Comfortable

Holding on to fear with all of your being

Until it becomes your distorted reality.

Fear with its power that you give it

Will only get stronger as you allow it to.

Your fears are yours because you validate them.

You hype them up until they're so inflated they become unstoppable.

But that should be your dream, your aspirations, your purpose

Sitting above every circumstance so that fear is miniscule

Letting fear

Run aimlessly leading to nothingness.

Finally losing its power

Because it never belonged inside of you in the first place.

Your dream is so much more worth it.

Risking but an hour would skyrocket it.

Risking an uncomfortable situation would cause it to blossom.

The possibilities are endless.

Take the risk

What are you holding onto?
