THE OTHER FACE OF TEARS
This poem belongs to Chapter 1: Soul Awakening A tribute to tears that aren’t pain, but sacred overflows of life.

Not every tear
is born from sorrow.
Some spill over
when the soul overflows,
when the heart can no longer fit in the chest,
and the body
becomes a river.
Strange, isn’t it?
That the same gesture that walks with grief
can also arrive
when joy pays a visit —
as if the emotion were so big,
it had no choice
but to escape through your eyes.
Because crying
isn’t always sadness.
Crying
is feeling too much.
And sometimes,
feeling too much
is a divine gift
that reminds us
we’re still alive.
The universe is so wise
that it balances every shadow with a light,
every ending with a beginning,
and every tear of pain
with one of fullness.
And when they meet —
when sorrow and joy embrace —
you touch one of the universe’s greatest mysteries.
Learn to love that moment
when your tears are not losses,
but an overflow of life.
When you can’t say a word,
yet everything is spoken
through your silent, sacred weeping.
That
is a divine gift.
That
is a miracle we often forget.
The miracle
of being so full of life
that even your tears
begin to celebrate you.
