The Orchard Where Hearts Broke
They could have been mended

The Orchard Where Hearts Broke
We met in shade
Fruit hanging low
Your smile warm
My heart open
Joy circled us
Light on the path
Steps soft and sure
Air sweet around
Hate came quick
A sharp cold word
Leaves shook hard
Hearts pulled back
Misery followed
Rain fell fast
We stood apart
Lost in doubt
Calm drifted in
Your hand reached out
Warmth returned slow
Storm slid away
Joy rose again
Small and clear
The orchard breathed
Our hearts eased
Love grew strong
Roots held deep
Eyes saw truth
Voices stayed calm
We walk that place
Fruit bright above
Stories in shade
Hearts whole again

A tender and powerful poem that celebrates the realistic resilience of love, showing how even a broken heart can re-root and bear fruit
Hey, My elder sister used to read them to me, and as I grew up, my love for stories only got stronger. I started with books, and now I enjoy reading on different writing platforms. Today, I came here just to read some stories, and that’s when I found your writing. From the very first lines, it caught my attention the more I read, the more I fell in love with your words. So I just had to appreciate you for this beautiful work. I’m really excited to hear your reply!
