Sex on the Beach
The night was wild,
the sea was loud,
waves crashed hard,
the stars allowed.
The moon leaned low,
her silver eyes,
watched us burn,
beneath dark skies.
Your touch was fire,
on salted skin,
a dance of want,
we both gave in.
Sand in hair,
the taste of wine,
bodies tangled,
lost in time.
Your breath was heat,
your voice a storm,
the world erased,
our only form.
The tide crept near,
a jealous sigh,
it pulled, it teased,
it tried to pry.
Still we stayed,
our hearts unchained,
no sin, no rule,
could have restrained.
The morning came,
a tender glow,
the waves now calm,
the air hung low.
I looked at you,
you looked at me,
two souls still drunk,
from ecstasy.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

Nice
The rhyme is a bit intrusive in places, but overall it’s successful.
I like the drink, too. ⛱️
