The new world.

Steadfast mountain, eldest trees,

Rivers flow upon the breeze,

Open plain into the west,

Heart uplifted, upright chest,

Sun would rise and sun would dim,

Through storms and sorrow, dark and grim,

The days of warfare, gone again,

Just a matter of where and when?

Golden terrain where oceans reside,

Freedom there to then, confide,

Liberty reigns, bells to ring,

Heart to feel, soul to sing!

Blood and kin, many a friend,

Hurt afflicted, wounds to mend,

Days of prosperity abundantly blessed,

Hearts to love, then confessed,

Such is the portion, our humbled rest,

The dominion of freedom in the realm of the west!
