THE MORE YOU LOOK THE LESS YOU SEE

Oh great Women Kingdom; does thou lie so low today?

Are all thy envious rich tradition and culture shrunk

To this little and unimaginable measure today?

Oh our heroes past, if then your spirits look upon us now,

Shall thou not grieve the inequality calamity

That has befallen women today in the world.

Oh the suffragettes, your past labour to stand

Women tall in the world is now being trampled upon

By your sons of this generation.

May your spirits continue the struggle

From the great beyond, for women

Of present generation are weaklings?

The struggle has overwhelmed us,

Not only because we’re feeble minded

But also lack the unity and cohesion

To forge ahead for equality.

We’ve dropped the baton of the struggle

You handed over to us.

The Kingdom is now in the state of disarray.

This generation needs to pick up the baton

Of struggle from the ground before it gets rotten.
