Stranded in snow, the valley so wide,

In Kashmir's heart, where the snowstorms reside.

We journeyed to Gulmarg, the mountain's embrace,

To learn to glide in winter’s white grace.

On bunny slopes, we began to fall,

Yet rose again, though timid and small.

Knees wobbling, hearts wild with fear,

But the snow-plough steadied, and the way became clear.

The cold kissed our cheeks, the air crisp and bold,

With every descent, new stories were told.

From morning's dawn to the twilight’s fade,

Our spirits were lifted, new memories made.

In the hush of the night, under stars so bright,

Kahwa in hand, wrapped in warmth, light.

The thrill of the slopes called us back each day,

Falling, rising, gliding away.

Though tumbles were plenty, and the lift seemed high,

The mountain’s vastness, the endless sky,

Taught us to trust in the skis and the snow,
