The Guardian
And Rebirth
The warmth of the sun
the smell of earth
Springtime has begun
with nature’s rebirth
*
Ammil - barely gone
dissolved slowly away
The secret of caochan
beautifully hidden to sway
*
Eit sparkles in moonlight
in sweet beds, made of stone
Goldfoil brings forth the lightning
as the seasons are sown
*
The soft seeds of grasses
pinched between fingertips
The sweet taste of honeydew
on longing, parched lips
*
The lovely dance of springtime
as winter sleeps on
Fragrant as the green pine
and the blue bird's new song
*
There is peace in the changes
though some may bring pain
As the flowers push through
from their wintery graves
*

Beautiful!!! Love nature poems!!!
Beautiful, evocative, & I learned a few new words. I have not yet learned what "Eit" means (unless it means "Engineer in Training"). Did you mean "Eit" or "It"? "It", of course, works well, but your vocabulary is sufficiently impressive I don't want to assume. And something about the sound of it is appealing. One Editorial question: I didn't note any apostrophes anywhere else, so if it's a choice, that's (obviously) fine. If it's not, then "natures" should be "nature's" in the first stanza. If that's the case, I thought you'd want to know.
That's beautiful. Love the vision of flowers and their wintery graves. Really well done.
