"What is the influence of the day?"
{I was awarded a Top Story today! Yay!}
I frown whenever I see the Five of Cups on display
But I'm less familiar with what it means when reversed
Am I cursed?
No! Pessimism needs dispersed
⚡
"Forgiving past injustices or injuries.
"Forgiving yourself."
'How?' remains the mystery.
What if I want to wallow in 'I'm undeserving'?
But whose agenda is that serving
To cling to the hurting?
⚡
This influence indicates that I'm healing?
Then why do I still feel like I'm reeling?
It seems like I have good cause to regret
Am I seriously capable of moving on yet?
⚡
The Sun shines bright

Twice!!

And Justice follows the fall.... ⚡

Perhaps I can find some hope after all.

I enjoyed this a lot! I read tarot so this was a fun one 😁
I love this.
The tarot, as used for divination, under the watchful eye of Mercury, often evokes the trickster aspect of his personality, and one does best to contemplate the whole book, revolving it in their mind so that they understand the associations aright. Hint: the five of cups is best understood in relation to the three and four of swords. We compromise for the sake of keeping the peace, within ourselves or with others, but, for some of us, at least, the dullness of the endeavor tends to lead to sorrow and disappointment. On this account have many of us chosen to sink into debauchery, just for some sort of adventure, not realizing that on the other side of sorrow there is a profound peace. But the way out is through. Buddha would be the primary purveyor of this lesson, as the ages go.
Hehehehhehe Congratulations for your Top Story! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
I like this, Lightning Bolt. A sign of better times, when it comes reversed.
I love this! I have been writing a series of poems on the major arcana for the past few months. A group that I attend twice a week pulls a tarot card as their writing prompt. it has been fun to write about the different cards. I think tarot cards are very interesting... 🤔
Here's my article on the Major Arcana. https://shopping-feedback.today/chapters/tarot-the-twenty-two-major-arcana%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
I've been a Tarot reader professionally for eight years. I do it, literally, almost every day. Five of Cups reversed is usually interpreted as a relationship where nothing, no party, wishes to remain, and the only way out is to leave. A card of melancholy and loss, made worse by the reversal.
