The Fishy Catch
Out at sea with pipe in hand,
The captain grinned—his luck was grand.
His boat, so small, yet packed so tight,
With fish that laughed in pure delight.
Not one did flop, not one did flee,
They danced with joy upon the sea.
With golden fins and gleaming scales,
They told each other happy tales.
A boy sat watching, from the shore in awe,
For never had he ever saw,
A catch so strange, so full of cheer,
Not fear nor dread, just laughter here.
The ocean chuckled, waves rolled high,
A fisherman’s dream beneath the sky.
Yet who had caught who? The question grew
Perhaps the fish had caught him too!
