The struggles are endless...

I can't drive, work full time, or go to my dream college.

If I do, I'm putting myself in danger.

Almost a decade of this living hell

But I still wake up,

I work two part time jobs,

I try, pushing myself to my body's limits.

After convulsing almost daily,

I get up and fight back tears from anger and embarrassment.

I push through the work day,

Even with seizing numerous times.

I fight my depressive episodes,

Getting out of bed, working, and cooking when I don't want to.

I force down at least 15 pills a day,

Just to survive as normal a life as I can.

As hard as it is,

I must keep fighting.

If not for me, then for grandma.

As someone who lives with a chronic and repetitive physical condition I wince as I relate to your well expressed emotions. It's a question of who's who everyday; is it the belly of the beast within or do we become the dragon that slays away at the culprit. Excellent!

So much fierce strength, just to live and do as others take for granted. A dragon is perfect imagery ❀

This is wonderful. Hold tight the dragon that keep going every day. That's strength. Well done!

You're such a warrior. You don't believe it, but you are a hero.
