The Deep Blue

Falling in love with the Ocean and all its mysteries

By Alex BarkerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The ocean is a funny thing, isn’t it? / It’s just a large, open, wet nothing / With it swooning you in. / Forget the sirens, / Let the ocean will draw you in / Drive you mad, / Make you fall in love with it’s deep blue.

Just the waves themselves / Makes me want to jump in, / Swallowing me whole.

The tides sweep in and out, / Giving the bay an ever gentle kiss / Only to pull away / And go in for another.
