The Cereus
An Acrostic Poem

The Cereus, An Annually Blooming Flower
Silently, secretly, your flower blooms beneath a veil of darkness, and
In the guise of an annual visit, you open beautifully in splendid array.
Light, whimsical white petals of velvet adorned in green highlights well displayed
Eagerly lift upwards, welcoming the moon's light rising in the east. A
Novelty of nature’s simplistic and stylistic, unsurmountable surprise, you
Create wondrous gardens of delight amongst dew laden nights, shining and
Encircling a glorious moment in the mere scope of one year's time.

Teaching us about the life of a flower, becoming a skilled lens a drone to then discover. You bring us life when you write about flowers and you bring out too, our own creativity. A very inspiring writer you are.
