The Butterfly Effect
It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly’s wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world. — Chaos Theory” Aleatha Romig, Truth

Once cocooned in a shell
I’m now free to fly
Yet for me this brings sorrow
As soon I will die
In my cocoon bound by walls
Safe and protected
Out here on this earth
Lonely, neglected
A symbol for many,
Prosperity and luck
For me, so free
So impossibly stuck
One flap of my wings
Cause and effect
Will it impact this world
Take time to reflect
The Law of nature,
an empirical truth
Duality of life
Just look at my youth
How to make a difference
In such a short time
To live a life without meaning
The worst of all crime
On a quest for guidance
What my purpose may be
Beauty in chaos
For all eyes to see
If only mankind
Took time to respect
The power I harness
The butterfly effect
