the blackness can swallow you whole
the darkness can take its toll
the unrelenting sadness can make you drop down and cry
the unjustice all around can make you want to stand on the nearest table, building or car and scream until your lungs give out
if
if you don't instead say "enough"
if you don't give life a rebuff
if the seas they get rough, the goings they get tough, you need to ride the tide and weather the storm
