Tethered love does not spring forth. Michelle Liew
**************************************************
I
see
Your face
Well-drawn lines,
But shun the dark
The love we feign with shield of lies.
**************************************************’
We
Cut
Our ties
Not with hate
But with Truth’s slice
Tethered love will never spring forth.

Beautiful!
Wow Michelle. It is damn perfect.
This is lovely and full of symbolism. Great job Michelle.
Ah, what's love got to do with it. Fickle human emotion, yet so written of. Well said.
Oh, this is really deep - nicely done, Michelle!!
Oooo, this was so powerful! Loved it!
Fabulous writing!
Ooh, this one’s got a sharp, poetic edge! A lot of depth in just a few lines—love and truth, tangled up, yet separated. Beautifully concise!
Love it. Love the deep tone you create in it.
Tethered love. I like that expression very much.
