The expectation, the flash, white pillars upon a red earth,

Quality judged by approval, value shown, proven worth,

Golden opportunity, silver sooner denied,

Appraisal and approval, a counselor to then confide,

A prisoners hopeful expectation, a common folks surest sign,

A daughter of a foreign lands delight, a prince's favorite crossing line,

Declaration throughout the land, told across the sea,

Favor in an unexpected place, what few eyes can see,

A gesture of good will, a notice of good pleasure,

Worth more then any raw material, or ancient, solid treasure,

Regardless of the missing figures, despite the prolonged trial,

What men seek in times, where adversity lingers all the while.
