surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
The day mother nature was made
My destiny is was written in the stars. The wind blowing thru my hair as fire raises. Surrounded by burning trees, ashes fall from like snow. Screaming only made it worse, as smoke filled the sky above me. A prison of fire swallowing me, as the earth burns. Washing away everything I'd held close to. Having only the muffled cries of death to soothe me as I drifted away.
