social commentary
There's a rich history of poetry serving as social commentary, intended to inspire calls to action.
who are you?
My names are, Japhet Lukundo Simukonda Actually my middle name “ LUKUNDO” means love In my mother tongue , it's a sign of peace, at an early age my grandma always told me “love everyone “ because feeling loved is the greatest feeling you can ever archive , it uplift you when you feeling low, give you home when you feeling lost and keeps you warm when you're feeling cold.

Angie is America
Angie is America By Daniella Silva, an American. I want to tell you about how my mom ran for her life, crossed the border, walked on the desert and held my sister in her arms on the 4th of July. I want to write about how I cry whenever I hear “America the Beautiful” and how I am a child of immigrants but, I never felt like a child of America. I want to write about how my sister is more American than me.
