who are you?
"The world is scary place, you get lost and lose your purpose, if you dot know who you are."
My names are, Japhet Lukundo Simukonda
Actually my middle name “ LUKUNDO” means love
In my mother tongue , it's a sign of peace, at an early age my grandma always told me “love everyone “ because feeling loved is the greatest feeling you can ever archive , it uplift you when you feeling low, give you home when you feeling lost and keeps you warm when you're feeling cold.
the world is a deep and scary place, we all lose ourselves fighting for acceptance
Wearing the wrong ID,to impress people who don't even care about us, forcing ourselves to fit in . we all just hiding behind curtains ,girls hid behind makeup because they think they’re
Not enough. I was told “ living for other people’s expectation you’ll die from rejection”
We are just scared, because we think the world might not embrace me for who I am.
that ‘s why we feel alone, dark clouds on my head , with suicidal thoughts, questioning god
Wondering what's my purpose, and self love is
Hard to obtain I mean... How do you love yourself when you don't appreciate the reflection in the mirror ? Too ashamed of every feature, we get discouraged, losing courage and the word “beauty” only sounds better when it is said by a stranger. I'm not “perfection” but at least I know what I'm worth. I owe me a rose for every breath I take. I think when you study your values the world can never distinguish your light. What you believe is who you are, show your self esteem with pride.
I got nothing but love for everyone and i respect myself enough, not to disrespect your choice and like christ said, i love my neighbours like i love myself, straight, gay, trans, black, white or brown. To me i call you a brother or sister
Aunty or uncle, because i believe who all just one word thats makes up “humanity”
But, it's ironic we are killing ourselves, cuz we segregating ourselves, and everybody is too abashed to speak, but even so, what’s the point of speaking when society is trying to keep us on mute?
I got three questions for society,
How dare you dislike me for being who I am?
How dare you dislike me and disrespect my religion just, because I don't believe your beliefs ?
And how dare you dislike me,because I love what's opposite from you?
i believe it's my rights to free my right to be loved my right to live and my rights my to breath
let's learn to love one another depite our backround, and let us learn to live with kindness, you may never know what somebody is going through but showing compassion is like a blanket on a cold skin. makes us all feel alive and gives us the authirity to smiles again and like sophocies said "one word frees us of all the weight and pain of life; that word is love"
to love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides and like a bright light beaming in the inside.
but all these can only attract you if you study your values and know purpose, love sprays like a virus in the right way it starts from you, by understanding and respecting someones choices and rights, because you acn not trury love somesone without respecting someone's beliefs,
"you must love youserself first, then you create a ripple of love that will touch everyone's lives. you hve the power within you. make a start and hear yours self first" that's leon brown.
