The Changing Face of Luna
Dearest Luna, I hear your sigh as you slip to sleep, the starlight snuffed out, the world awakening. My friend, before you rest today, I want to thank you. Just as your phases change your appearance, they also alter the night sky. From a full moon of brilliance to a sliver next to Venus, your beauty is stunning. You glowed in a quarter phase over the Serengeti, casting dappled light on grazing antelope as hyenas and lions roamed.
