nature poetry
An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
Who and what it is?
It’s 12:27 A.M., the snow was freshly fallen. The snow and the clouds were just starting to clear out. Behind the clouds, the stars and moon appear out from behind them. The last full moon of the year has made an appearance. The light that’s reflected of the moon reveals everything but what’s in the shadows. There is life in the shadows and you hear it. If you just listen closely. You hear the snow falling from the trees, a deer pushing through the pine thicket by Berry Road as it blows at me. It’s beautiful and with every single breath you can barely take it all in and say thank You, because He created that for me to see at that very moment and hear those things that which we cannot see but knowing who or what it is!
