An ode to Mother Nature; poems that take their inspiration from the great outdoors.
summerful days
What a summerful day full of light and sunshine as we run through the fields of light. Hoping if we run further, we will touch the edges of the hot sun as kids play, listening to soft jazz music and lots of laughter and fun in the background. Nether the less a breeze passing by as we sway side to side until the breaking of dawn. Oh, what a summerful day it is to enjoy the cloudless days of the year full of happiness and heavenly moments. We are experiencing the nature of the earth while full of sensational relaxation throughout the unforgettable humidity of summer. Oh, what a summerful day as we celebrate a new season of warmth and youthful weather. Seemingly, Jumping in the water to cool off the sweat drips from off our heads as parents are on the lakeside bathing in the sun. The lasting freshness of being free for the summer and blooming our spirits with love and light. Walking barefoot on the sand, feeling the blistering heat between our toes as we see the steam rise from the sand. So much fun we sometimes wonder if the summer has begun. Gazing into the air as you hear the soft music still playing in the background from the near side of the lake. Oh, summerful day; what will it take to have this day every season. In the summer, we forget about our worries; on these days, we wish for our dreams to come true and live like there is no tomorrow. Children are happy since school is out and pools are ready to be filled. Cheerfully splashing in the water as the sun goes down and the sand is still scorching hot, but that doesn’t stop us. Oh, sweet summerful day, the kids no longer want to play, but maybe sometime soon we will get a replay.
